At times our foundations are rocked
Torn from the ground

We lay bare
Exposed
Unable to stand

But as we look to the roots that have kept us up
We see their depth was not enough

And so we dig down
Forge further

Through to the core
To our truth

The fire that lies within
It is ever burning

We may need to search to find it
But it is there

As we start to feel its warmth
Its raw energy

Our roots begin to grow
They grow strong and thick

Breaking through the earth
The stone
The layers and layers of matter

Until they reach the heart
Filled with pure love
Nourishment
Life
