Once upon a time, in sacred communities, sexual women held and guided the world. Residing in temples in ancient times, they were independent, empowered and embodied love. Respected and revered as the living embodiment of their divine role model, the Great Mother. Their bodies were seen as sacred alchemical vessels of creation, their energy flowed through every crevice of the earth. They were deeply connected with the inner world of spirit and the outer forces of nature. They were the bridge between the worlds; The Keepers of the Sacred Mysteries.
They lived and worked together in community. Each day waking to honour the cycles, the rhythm and beauty of life. Each day sharing their knowing, their insights and their observations. These women were dreamers and visionaries, with intuitive gifts they loving nurtured and developed. With the ability to dance between the spiritual and earthly planes, they were able to perceive and maintain the psychic-energetic-emotional landscape of society, the subtle realm of energy, emotion, vibration, and sensation penetrating all reality.
They held crucial roles as, oracles, priestesses, healers, mothers, caretakers and peacekeepers. Their love and profound wisdom gave them the ability to heal and restore, maintaining harmony and balance in their community and the larger world.
We are living in awakening times. Times where the voice of the Great Mother is once again calling us to unlock the doors to the ancient. This is a path that will bring healing to our world, to our men, to our children, to the very fabric of life itself. The keys to this sacred path live within us all. Underneath all of who you think you are lives the embodiment of your innate and ancient essence.
